Calculate Your Body Fat Percentage
Quickly and easily calculate and record your body fat percentage. My Workout Trainer will show you exactly how to calculate your body fat percentage, with video and with illustrations, using any of the following methods:
1. Jackson/Pollock 7-site fat caliper method
2. Jackson/Pollock 4-site fat caliper method
3. Jackson/Pollock 3-site fat caliper method
4. Parillo fat caliper method
5. Durnin/Womersley fat caliper method
6. Naval Health Research Center tape measure method
7. Body fat scale or body fat analyzer
Knowing your body fat percentage is critical when trying to improve your body composition. For example, if you have 50 pounds in fat and 150 pounds in lean body weight, then your total body weight is 200 pounds. If you lose 2 pounds in fat and gain 3 pounds in muscle, now you weigh 201 pounds. By using a regular scale, you might think you gained fat. But with My Workout Trainer you will know you lost fat and gained muscle. Tracking body fat is the best way to improve your body composition.
